HB 1333 - an obscene gesture to our Constitution
'Establishing the domestic violent extremism commission' aka the Ministry of Truth
*updated, as of 11.dec, 2023: It would be SHB (substitute) 1333*
HB 1333 is a big, blatant ‘middle finger’ to the US Constitution, as well as the Washington State Constitution.
It is the biggest threat to our freedoms, and the largest attack on the 1st Amendment in Washington state.
There's nothing in this bill, that proves, or indicates that it would do anything other than go after anyone who expresses dissent or speaks out against unlawful (and anti-Constitutional) activity conducted by the government. Once you remove the legalese and vagueness of the bill, you have an absolutely rotten bill devised by an ambitious, arrogant, pompous criminal very much hell-bent on destroying the US Constitution, in flagrant violation of the oath of office that he (Ferguson) swore to uphold.
This bill was the result of a 'Domestic Terrorism Study' done in 2022. This study was 'mandated' by certain members of the Washington State Legislature to address the 'domestic extremism' threat.
One very important term that's used in this bill is the 'public health framework'.
I'm pointing this out, because not long ago, the Center for Disease Control, as well as other public health officials (bureaucrats) declared 'racism' to be an ongoing public health threat.
This falls in line with what people know about 'Critical Race Theory', which is inherently racist.
How ironic…
Under the guise of 'combating domestic violent extremism', this bill really and fully intends to use abuse of power to suppress, and silence dissent, while ignoring the obvious problems of a criminally negligent government (that's been allowed to remain in power for far too long via the use of rigged elections, and money not entirely legal).
The committee members whom would be appointed (not elected), would be members of the minority community, and they would be appointed by the governor and/or attorney general's office.
It would include four legislators (two from the house, and two from the senate, both of which would be from the legislature's largest caucuses), one representative from the Governor's office, as well as the Attorney General's office; a representative from the ACLU; a representative from the Anti-Defamation League; and a representative with expertise in 'public health'.
Six members of the community whose criteria would be 'protected' under the 'Malicious Harassment' law (RCW 9a.36.080).
This 'commission' MUST extend an invitation to a member of the FBI AND the Department of Homeland Security, as well as a representative from a federally recognized tribe.
While the law states that the commission can solicit and invite 'non-member' groups and individuals to join, it does not include 'whites' or Christians.
The attorney general will provide staffing and support, to schedule meeting and discuss agendas.
The agendas include combating 'online disnformation' and 'misinformation' (and creating solutions to these two 'problems'), and discussing/proposing whether further action should be taken, depending on the level of 'radicalization' of said 'disinformation'.
Anyone suspected of being a 'domestic violent extremist' has the potential to be subject to further scrutiny, including (probably) use of any surveillance tools to (likely) monitor the online or social media). It could also be implied (with the possibility of someone from the FBI and DHS sitting on this commission, that US Government assets could be used in this scrutiny).
The bill goes further to say that people who are a cultural/sexual/ethnic/religious minority aren't 'disproportionately' affected, which again, leaves this bill targeting 'whites' or Christians, (or both) who hold a specific view.
The results of such scrutiny, would be sent to the Attorney General's office for further action, which would include criminal action, as well as recommendations sent to legislators (in the form of proposed new bills) to combat 'extremism'.
This bill, by its nature is unconstitutional, and should not be allowed to get past the committee stage.
The ‘Domestic Terrorism Study of 2022’ will be covered shortly.
Well, I guess I would be on this list as I once said we should put Inslee and Ferguson's heads on poles in social media. On top of that I was against the mask mandates and the vaccine mandates, lost my job here in WA. state of 17 years. I am a White Christian, a combat veteran and hate tyranny. I was already threatened to be shot by a local ANTIFA member when I got vocal standing up for businesses against tyranny in the past years. Looks like I will be an enemy. However, the way family and friends wished me death, applauded when I lost my job etc. shows me that the people will not have my back. I will not stand up when I can't even trust the people around me. I plan on leaving this state as the enemy has gained too much ground here.
This bill is totally against the State and Federal Constitution eroding our first amendment!
