Observe, don't absorb...
Finding happiness and joy in a world full of bad news, corruption, and turmoil without being overwhelmed
Over the past year (or longer), there have been many revelations about how corrupt our elections are, a lack of accountability for those in power (who are criminals), as well as a criminal global death cult that wants us all dead, in submission, or both. This includes exposure of the corrupt court system, and multiple indictments on former President Trump, for questioning a fraudulent election, as well as patriots in our state being reported as ‘election threats’ for the same reason.
For anyone who cares about our state and country, it’s very easy to get overwhelmed, and have feelings of hopelessness, anger, apathy, and depression.
If you're a person with a good heart, and a good soul, seeing such things be exposed in plain view can be horrible, if not devastating on your view of life.
So here's some caring, friendly advice: take a step back for a moment or two, and breathe.
There is a lot of things going on right now, as what needs to happen for our growth, and the future of humanity.
In order to fix the problem, you have to expose the cause. And exposure is never easy.
Spending every waking moment, consuming and absorbing every little detail about what's going on in our corrupt government (state or otherwise) can be overwhelming, and damaging to your health…both physical, and spiritual.
Knowing how bad it is, is enough. Because with knowledge, comes the opportunity to act, when the time is right. Just know your limits.
It's very key in these times to find something to 'fall back' on, like something you enjoy; whether it be cooking, fixing things, being with a friend/loved one, merry-making, leisure and fun stuff, or just being in nature.
It also helps to find something to be thankful for, whether it's family, friends (two-legged or four), or even things and people that are in your life.
If you can find at least one thing to be happy about and/or grateful for, then you're halfway there.
Sometimes you have to take care of yourself by taking a step back from everything...to find your joy and happiness in these troubling and eventful times.
People who really care about you won't question your patriotism for taking care of you and yours.
The world will take care of itself.
The substack will be here when you get back.
Take as much time away as you need. You've earned it.
I'm happy every time I wake up on this side of the daisies, I'm surrounded by the beauty our Creator has bestowed upon us in each and every season, the green of new growth and life in the spring, the warmth and longer days of outdoor activities in the summer, the colorful living portraits of the autumn leaf, the glitter of sunlight on winter's frost and snow and the life giving water it leaves behind.....and the gathering of friends in it's coldness for the warmth of conversation
It has been exhausting...and thisnis a good word...thank you
