First, the good news.
HB 1333, the ‘creating a domestic violent extremist commission’ looks like it’s dead.
It was supposed to be scheduled for a floor vote yesterday (March 8th), and didn’t meet the deadline. So is the ‘tax by the mile’ bill.
And now the bad news:
HB 1143, 1240, and 1469; SB 5599, SB 5078 (assault weapons ban, licensing requirements for purchasing a firearm, specifying ‘protected health care services’, providing ‘protected health care services for youth and adolescents and making the firearms industry legally liable bills, respectively) made it out of the house and senate floors.
They will be going back into their respective committees, shortly.
We still have a chance to make our voice heard, and get these bills killed.
This isn’t the time to let up. No mercy.
Make no mistake. The regime in Olympia has shown abject hatred and contempt for rule of law, and ‘We the People’.
Let’s keep going, patriots. We’ve only just begun to fight.
Some losses here. But some big wins. Could not agree more that the time is now to fight against these horrific bills. And for those that have passed that are unconstitutional, it is our duty to disobey.
I agree the more we flood the Senate & House with e-mail, don't just copy Tim Eyman's narrative, create your own angry words and use all the contacts I sent out to #wearewastate earlier today. Make noise make your voices heard.
