I came to Truth Social back in April 2022. I had been 103,000 on the waiting list when I first applied for Truth Social. So when my account got approved, it didn’t happen until April.
I was no stranger to social media, having been on Facebook and Twitter a decade ago. But I deleted my accounts, soon after I created them. It was because I never felt people wanted to engage me in return. I felt like I was an object to be a collected, instead of a soul with a mind and heart to be cared for and valued.
I was also on 8kun for about a year and a half, since my usual news outlets were being censored. I did ‘bake’ on 8kun a few times, including during the infamous ‘baker wars’ of late October 2020.
After being in one of the worst state for the p[l]andemic (Washington state), and not being able to connect with other people from Washington via the comments sections on local websites, I decided to try and find as many from our state as possible.
It was slow-going at first, but things didn’t start to pick up until about August.
I started to notice back in October, when I saw a couple of my fellow Truthers talking to each other, not even knowing there were others from our state.
It was a post about potential sites for a Trump rally that made decide to create the ‘#wearewastate’ hashtag.
I was going to do this anyway, given how enthusiastic people have been about having a MAGA rally, as well as find each other.
I had very little idea that a simple hashtag could draw people. But this IS social media, and I’m very glad and grateful that we in Washington state have a place to rally and connect with each other.
What I created, others are adding and sustaining.
Thank you to everyone who’s part of our hashtag. We should aim to have a ‘MAGA’ rally of our own, soon.
Until next time.

Hashtags are very under rated, they are a very important part of online marketing that people don't use.
Ah ha, so that was when you decided to hashtag ‘#wearewastate’ I remember very well that discussion about the Gorge as being a possible site. I must have been a lower number than you on the waiting list, I signed on ASAP upon learning of TS's birth and was approved in February of 2022.
You did an amazing job and getting us located by state, then county to boot, that is a big Wow and a huge feather in your cap. Thanks for all you do with you research and insight that others don't have the time to do and the well versed means by which you lay things out very clearly for folks to read and understand. Keep up the good work J.
