We need to talk about those anti-gun bills...NOW!
Sanctioned by WEF-Inslee and his minions, they are hellbent on depriving us of 2nd amendment protection.
There’s really no way to sugar-coat this. So I won’t.
Inslee (and his minion Ferguson), are once again, at it with these five (with more, likely on the way) anti-gun/anti-2nd amendment bills.
This is very likely ‘par for the course’, given that he’s a World Economic Forum puppet.
Based on the reading of some of these bills, including SB 5078, and HB 1195, what these are based on, are outright lies.
But criminals lie (and water is wet, etc).
A reasonable conclusion that can be drawn with these bills (two in subcommittee), are the final disarming of ‘We the People’ in Washington state.
Here are the bills:
Aside from the fact, it would create an even BIGGER de facto database (it would be assumed that the body giving out the permits, would be the corrupt, and largely unaccountable, Department of Licensing. This, on top of the fact, that private sales of guns are illegal, under I-1639, without background checks (which is ALSO an infringement of the US Constitution).
This should be an automatic, vulgar NO!
HB 1144 – Mandatory gun safety course and 10-day waiting period.
This requires a 10-day waiting period to purchase, as well as mandated completion of a gun safety course. Permission would not be granted to complete purchase until the chief of police in the purchaser's county grants it. It's a 2nd Amendment Infringement, creates a logjam and burden for our constitutionally-appointed sheriffs, and well as a bureaucratic nightmare.
This also proposes implementing a state version of NICS, which also includes a health background check
This should ALSO be an automatic, vulgar, NO!
HB 1178 - Concerning local government authority to regulate firearms.
This proposed law would give your local government authority to regulate whether you're able to possess a firearm or not.
Instead of just the entire state of Washington, you'd be subject to the whims of the city or county you live in, on whether you're able to own or use your firearm.
This is a 2nd amendment infringement, and should be an automatic, vulgar, NO!
HB 1195 - Prohibiting the open carry of certain weapons in public parks and public hospitals
This law prohibits open carry in a public park or a hospital. This adds to a law that prohibited open carry at demonstrations and protests.
One could predict they will eventually try to ban 'open carry' in their next session.
This is a 2nd amendment infringement, and should be an automatic, vulgar, NO!
HB 1240 -Establishing firearms-related safety measures to increase public safety.
The title of this bill is blatantly misleading, and filled with so many lies.
It's an assault weapons ban, as well as a ban on 80% uppers, 'assault weapon' mod and 3D-printed guns.
After the ban, a person can only sell to a licensed dealer.
Another infringement, and another automatic NO!
SB 5078 - Protecting public safety by establishing duties of firearm industry members.
It calls the firearms industry and manufacturers a 'nuisance'.
We're already off to a bad start with this bill, and just reading it, should be an AUTOMATIC NO...
It basically tells the firearms manufactures what 'safety' features to include in their firearms, who to sell/not sell to,
'Public nuisance' give the attorney general wide lattitude to sue.
This bill also allows for the attorney general to sue for any damages caused through the use of the firearm, depending on manufacture.
This makes no sense whatsoever, from a common sense standpoint
Infringement. Nope it right to hell.
You are correct, however it is crucial that anyone who does buy a firearm take a gun safety class, for their own protection and to learn how to disassemble, clean & reassemble said firearm, also it is helpful for the teacher to allow you to feel the weight & fire power of many gun choices you might be considering. We did this and are grateful that we did. Although on my first disassemble I cleaned the grease too well and didn't put enough back in and it jammed, but the firing range took it apart and told me my error and fixed it for me. So I learned a lot from that. Most boys & girls who have hunting parents teach their kids about rifles and have them take gun safety classes too, but this has always been common sense a mandate made by parents for everyone's safety.
The current gun laws are already bad enough. We can't even purchase the weapons we want like a 9MM pistol with standard capacity magazines. I can't even order anything for what I currently own.
