HB 1143 (SHB 1143) basically turns your rights to own a firearm in our state, into a privelege that can be regulated, and given, and denied/revoked.
When the Founders of our country wrote ‘well-regulated’, this bill is nowhere near what it meant.
Requiring safety classes before granting permission to receive a firearm that you purchased is an infringement, and it creates MORE bureaucracy.
Using bureaucracy to infringe on (nad deprive you of) your rights to own, and purchase a firearm.
It’s likely the intent is to make it damn near impossible to own a firearm, so you end up just leaving the state.
Make no mistake. Gun safety is a mandatory part of gun ownership, and it makes for a safe, responsible gun owner.
However, turning a right into a privilege, is criminally wrong.
More on this later.
Ouch so our highly priced guns and ammo could basically be recalled with search and seizure notices or midnight visits from our State Gulag club members to confiscate our 2nd amendment rights tools?
