So on May 1st, 2023, it was announced that de facto Governor Jay Inslee would not seek a fourth term.
One could almost have a sense (albeit a very, very brief, one) of relief.
However, given the insane amount of damage that his corrupt (and criminal) leadership has done to the state (which includes signing laws that de-criminalizes drug possession, made Washington state a ‘sanctuary’ state for illegal aliens, neutering law enforcement, mandating an experimental durg (‘vaccine’) for all state employees, signing anti-Constitutional laws (like gun bans and licensing), signing a law allowing the state to kidnap children under the guise of ‘gender-affirming care’ and the gross amount of ‘abuse of power’ that he took advantage of in his 975 days of terror during the pandemic), he will most certainly go down in the state’s history as THE worst governor Washington state has ever had.
Nature abhors a vacuum (in plain English, nature hates vacuums).
We don’t know who the next ‘Democratic’ gubernatorial candidate will be, but we can guess it’ll likely be Ferguson. If you’ve been paying attention to the level of lawlessness and abuse of power Ferguson has committed, you’ll find that this guess is likely the most accurate.
Ferguson has authored, and proposed just as many anti-Constitutional laws, as well as defend them as state Attorney General (and benefitted from election fraud, which he has not only refused to prosecute, but attempted to retaliate against the group attempting to expose it).
This also creates an opportunity in which we get to see the response of the Washington State Republican Party, as well as see how strong a candidate they can field against the (likely frontrunner) Ferguson (Semi Bird comes to mind).
Unfortunately, all this (shortly-lived) enthusiasm and intrigue vanishes, when you realize that our elections are still irredeemably rigged, and the systemic election fraud that allowed Inslee to take office (albeit illegally), still exists (as well as a pending law that suppresses investigation of any election fraud on the county level).
The Washington State Republican Party (election integrity), has largely been silent and/or weak on anything related to election integrity up to this point.
Leadership is a disaster, and it’s unknown whether the WSRP can reconcile the growing discontent among those that used to support and fund it.
And very few will forget what had been done to candidates that support MAGA (Make America Great Again - America First) candidates.
The time between now and November 2024 is the most crucial for our state. We need to continue to organize, educate, and mobilize. This may be our last chance to restore integrity, freedom, and livability in our state.
I was hoping Jim Walsh would toss in his hat to run for Governor as the GOP does support him and less likely to scuttle him like they do most of our candidates. He really knows his way around the Olympia Liberals & Republicans although too many of those are RINO's. But he is really great at listening to the people no matter what county you are from and would be a responsible leader. But how to get around the Big Rig, you are very correct.

Jim Walsh would be my choice at this point as well...Smiley would rock their world too...we have got to end illegals being signed up to vote when they get drivers licenses, we need forensic audits of our HART, dominion, and ES&S and we need to clean up the voter rolls and we need to reinstate in person voting if possible ...and the complacency of our republican party stating we dont have voting issues when we had 400 thousand extra ballots is mind numbing and wrong...I will never donate again to these people. We are the king of cheating here regardless of the libs that vote blue for one issue items...its outrageous and lazy!
