I know it’s been a while since the last newsletter.
I’m slowly, but surely working through SB 5221 (2003). This is the bill that established the canvassing boards (for processing ballots and votes during the elections), and the sealing of voter ballots (and they are to remain sealed, except by court order, or federal mandate).
This is a very important detail, as being able to view the ballots, we would be able to see whether there were blank ballots used, and processed in our elections.
There are a few other laws that I found that limit the ‘major’ parties to Democrat and Republican, which removes the viability of third party political parties in our state. This could be viewed (in a certain light), as a violation of the 1st Amendment: free speech.
This is ALSO a very important detail, because in the RCW regarding which party can be present during the collection of mail-in ballots from the drop boxes, it states clearly that there must be people from the MAJOR political party..which, again, is Democrat and Republican.
This state has always been Uniparty. And I’ve had enough of it.

AND get yourself appointed as a precinct committee officer no later than November 9th so that you can be an automatic delegate to the county convention where we will be voting on who to send to the state convention. At the state convention in April 18-19 where we will vote on who to endorse for congressional candidates and statewide candidates. We also vote on our party platform, our National Delegates to the National convention and our electors.
If you don't get involved to try to fix what is wrong, then don't complain. I'm doing everything I can!
